i was talking to dave and mentioned that maybe all the dumb posts on the app was pushing the complaints down
he asked if there were legitimate complaints
but we were talking on the post id made :\

We are still in high school. Thoughts of marriage are far from my mind, though I'm not surprised Dave has planned ahead. He's a very thoughtful young man, as you and I know, who wants the best for you both in the present and the future.

Dave will live. Though you shouldn't ignore him for too long; that'd be avoiding the problem. A serious, open conversation between the two of you and of what you expect from him should do the trick.
